Boarding Information

Any medication necessary will be administered to a guest, with the exception of injections. All medication must be in the original labeled container with clearly written instructions.

If a guest becomes ill and we determine that professional care is necessary, we will transport him/her to a veterinarian. If possible, we will try to contact the owner before transporting. Based on the circumstances, we will make every effort to take the pet to the veterinary hospital listed on the check-in form. The owner is responsible for any veterinary fees.

Baths and grooming are available for departing guests on the day of pick-up and for non-guests by appointment.

Effective March 1, 2009, boarding rates are $15 per night for the first guest and $7 for each additional guest in the same kennel. For every 6 consecutive nights, the 7th night is free. Check-out is at 12 noon on the last day of your pet's stay. After 12 noon, there will be an additional 1/2 day charge. Reservations are not required but are recommended during the holidays. Allow about 15 minutes for check-in. This will allow us time to get acquainted and to fill out the registration form.

Please bring vaccination records!

There are a few preparations which will make your pet's stay more comfortable and stress-free.

If your pet has never been boarded before and time allows, we suggest that you board him/her for a night or a weekend. This will allow us to determine how well your pet will adjust to new surroundings.

Guests are welcome to bring a blanket or a favorite toy. Something familiar from home will help your pet adjust. Please understand that personal possessions are sometimes lost. We will make every effort to keep all items with their owner.

Even though we supply food for all guests, we recommend that the owner bring their own particular food. A change in diet can cause an upset stomach for some pets.
